Jenifer Bowman shares her story with us about how the snowman water color painting came to life! “My sister, Carri Bullock, and I collaborated to create this Christmas card together (my sister lives in Grand Junction so this was a long distance project). My sister did the amazing water color painting of the snowman. I asked her to paint a winter scene for a Christmas card and I was thrilled with what she came up with. I have been taking calligraphy classes this year at the Fort Collins Senior Center as a community class through The Recreator. I wanted to include calligraphy with the Christmas card. The Print Cafe helped me put my sister’s talent and my talent together for an amazing Christmas card. I love what The Print Cafe did! I was concerned that I would not be able to get a good quality scan to capture all the details and shading of the snow and trees that my sister beautifully painted. I couldn’t be happier with the quality – all the details were there. My sister also loves the final product. It has been fun to work on this project with my sister. We are enjoying sending our cards to friends and family to wish them Happy Holidays. I can’t thank The Print Cafe enough. The whole process has been very positive. It feels good to see the vision of a creative project become reality.”
